a very busy week
Word: jadala (arabic)-v. to twist tight, tighten, stretchMOD: that was a word picked entirely at random. isnt it so appropriate how it fits in with the whole revision, aka brain twisting, theme?

I'VE FINISHED!
though actually thats quite a half-hearted 'finished'. i mean it's jan exams-we got the whole train in june. and i dont even know if ive done well enough on these. ah well, im finished for now:).
anyways, so yes, tis a busy week and am feeling quite important. 'feeling'. rather like when a shampoo ad talks about hair 'looking' healthier. darn it, is it REALLY healthy?! anyways, i divert. so yes, a busy week. so lets take a peek in la dazey diary...
- TODAY - had my exam this morning-bio 4 Allahu a3lam what i filled that paper with but khayr iA.
- WED - am going down to a friend's in stockport. she just came back from hajj (mA mA!) and we are in need of catching up. really shameless the way we've been meaning to visit and its just-not-happened. sunny at college was trying to convince me to go barnsley with her after college instead, but tis a date not to be missed, so shall have to go with her another time. would have been fun to go with sunny too seeing as she'd be driving (bless the child, she recently passed. kinda like a rollercoaster ride-being in a constant state of prayer. i divert again. so thats wed.
- THURS - iA meeting up with designer dentist for a much needed hair hack session. the ol' ends arent looking their bonniest and have suffered much neglect. a formal apology will be sent ofcourse, but at present we shall settle for simply la hair hack.
- FRI - leaving partay for fudge, bless her. moving on to pastures new, perhaps greener-into the big (bad) world of work. a fond farewell and lots of love and dua to be showered.
- SAT - muslimaat agm (annual general meeting) at the london muslim centre, with all the dudettes nationwide. should prove to be a jolly do and hoping to meet a lot of people iA. might have to leave on fri night for this one. will see iA.
- SUN - ife agm (islamic forum europe annual general meeting). now this iA will be Big. for the first time the whole of europe lot will be invited, so we'll have reps from everywhere iA. Jolly Fun Stuff. lots of people lots of love and another fond farewell-this time to ife sisters english section, which will be merging with muslimaat. so we'll be one bigger and happier muslimaat:). this will also be at the london muslim centre (ofcourse).
and there you have it! meanwhile, today is officially my Day To Chillax. me dear cousin in bd has sent some movies so perhaps i shall watch one of them...
ws love & duas

Assalamualaikum
Hey girls, do you all live in manchester? Isn't that where brother Abu Eesa lectures from (the author of www.PropheticGuidance.co.uk)?
If you do, could u record his stuff and sort out links? If u can, let me know and I'll be in touch (I don't want to ask on his site as I think he's not into recording his lessons...)
yeah im going to his class inshaAllah from next wk, the ones at makki mosque on fri@8pm... i'll record them inshaAllah, and i kno one of the bros is sorting recording also i think
Nasreeeeeeen!!! I don't have your email address so I can't send you this personally, but the other week for no apparent reason it dawned on me how wonderful you are masha'allah and how incredibly lucky we are to have you in the family :) I mean, how many girls would take being told to do niqab by dada in their stride and lord knows what else!
Dazey I think you should do an ode to bhabi. Lol.
Take care,
wassalam
that was a strangely worded compliment bikes! bt yes, as we were saying jst last night nas, u r LOVELY mashaAllah &the most adorable addition to the azam clan since mishaal :)
lol yep we have a fan club forming!
btw, bikey im sure much worse trials could befall nas than being asked to wear niqab. honestly, theyre hardly asking us to waltz off the 8th floor roof-y take it so? anyways, bb dint really mind, is of the oponion theres too many-er-'unfavourable' ppl in that land that mite look at his wife anyways;), lol.
an ode on the way iA!
btw, pink, wats this 8pm class? is it regular? i want to join!
xx
no no, i mean that a lot of ppl brought up in brit at any rate would probably not have taken to that kindly - nothing to do with wearing niqab itself or not! it was just the only example that came to mind...
lol, yup. tis unfortunate that ppl brought up in brit would take it so tho. pleasing your grandparents isnt such a big loss of ones rights, after all. esp if its only in one country where everyone seems to take to staring most disturbingly. ah well! not gona pretend that i enjoy the face mask meself ofcourse, but dnt mind it much. n darn it they stare too much out there:P.
i wrote an ode!
xx
