aa deariesi am not the jolly self today at all. people i have lost my bag! or more to the point its been nicked, although i won't pretend that i didnt facilitate said nicking. i shall be brief for i am short of time. basically i went to asda with mb and on the way out with the trolly mb announces that there's very little time b4 maghrib is over and he's gona pray. all well and good, we go to one side to pray, spreading our coats n (in my case) putting my bag next to me. needless to say, being dazey, dazey managed to finish her prayers, put on her coat again and prance off home leaving the poor forlorn looking bag behind simply ASKING to be nicked. darn. i called today and they said the don't have it:P.
anyways, so im feeling jolly orphaned without me dear black kangol which hitherto had been an integral part of my being. and mind you it ain't just the bag but its contents. i shall list some its contents so my dear readers may fully appreciate the gravity of the situation:
- brand new beyoootiful brithday wallet with pretty pretty stones and goldenness (with my cards)
- my mp3 player (thankfully my mobile was in my pocket-alh alh)
- my vaseline(!)
- my concealer (!!)
- my chocolate lip balm (!!!)
- my kohl (!!!!)
- my face powder (not really much to worry about til summer methinks, although i still jolly well miss it, and it wasn't cheap:P)
- a library book (:S)
- a lit book (darn was reading that)
ok i just realised how bomboish that list is. o well-recognised bimbos we are isnt it pink?!
so people, please make dua that by some miracle of sorts the bag reappears so i can go claim it (they said to call back tomorrow to see if its been found). ah the trials and tribulations of dazey's world!
in other news-we got curtains fitted today (takbir!). yes tis the slow but steady existence of the al-azami household. i would point out that half the things fitted i have had bought and ready to fit in time for the WEDDING. well it happened in the end folks! and my sister in law can fully appreciate them now i guess (apologies nas). well really, i should never lose hope because it happens in the end! i mean, look at the plastering and the carpet. yeah i had to keep telling them for a year, but it happened in the end! and who cares if it took a wedding to get them going? (although the carpet also came after).
moral: slow but steady wins the race (my hindfoot:P)
o n nanu came...and went. left yesterday morning. i have attained new levels of inner emptiness :'(.

Don't worry...I'm sure something will be able to replace that missing vaseline. Time is a great healer.

make sure u cancel ur cards n stuff.
u might get a nice old lady who finds ur cards & trcks ur down like i had wt my buspass? or a nice asian man who comes all the way to ur house to check he's returning to the right person - like ammu had when she left her wallet wt £600 cash in asda carpark!! inshaAllah... "there can be miracles... when u belieeeeve"!!
ahem - i bear testimony to the slow & steady diy project that is overtaking ur house - mashaAllah for the curtains and carpet :)
i notice ur bimbo things all came befoer ur books in the List of the Lost - shameful stuff!!!

daaaaazey!!! how could you not tell me you got pooled??!?!?!? well done mA - that means you're made of cambridge stuff (whatever that means) and it just depends on whether any of the colleges have space for you... if you Do get invited back for an interview you should be happy cos unless you make a complete shambles of it, you more or less have the place. making lots of dua for you...

i no this a tad bit late , but being a victim of the same crime i had to say i feel 4 u really and yep miracles do happen cos i got everything back wen it happened to me, but not me mobile or £20, lol.
and now i remember i did tell u bout the incident so no point elaborating.
well i'm sure u'll buy many more bags and neva lose any at least not 4 a yr and 4 months just like me
