dazey is wasted. last weekend (and the run up to it) has had me squeezed dry of every last ounce of energy i possessed. gosh too much to say n ive no idea how to put it! methinks this is a new development, having the same issue with me uni personal statement. it is currently a haphazard brainstorm wich generally looks like i threw up on my keyboard...must overcome this!

anyways, so for the past (lifetime) weeks, we've been attempting to decorate the house. mA managed quite a bit, painted the corridors n dining n all tht. n the brides room was a romantic treat:D (lets hear it for bse n pink ppl-the 2 worked a dream). at this point actually i must really make a big mention to darling bse. the girl literally camped out at our place the last week b4 the wedding (slept on the living room sofa) to decorate n paint n generally give us the drive we lacked. i kid u not, wen all else fails, mindless optimism will see u thru. the girl went to the extent of actually convincing us to attempt to saw skirting boards off (we ofcourse failed on tht). anyways, nothing works as one wud wish, so we currently hv rolls of luvley new carpet lying around, while the stuff we tactfully splashed with paint has remained firmly in place in all its glory. me sis in law had a good look at tht, im sorry to say. iA its to be sorted this week. so anyways, the house was bearable enuf, tho not wat i wanted it to be (not enuf time!).

moving on, holud/mehndhi was a luvley affair. my bro was bright orange:D. took advantage we did of his vulnerable position! my khalas came down from bd, complete with bata holud, so there was no way he'd escape tht one! food was good too. unfortunately cudnt make it to nas's holud:(, quite deflated over tht i was. must get the girl to show pics...aparently twas quite funfun.

WEDDING:D- drove down from manchester in 4 minibuses n a car. wen we got to london we switched cars to mr n mrs c's to get to the actual venue. wen we actually got to the venue, lo n behold a sea of gold (awwals cn coordinate n a half) preparing for gate dhora:D. lol, too bad i cudnt hang round for tht-mens only. but sent me other bro with a stash of foreign money ;). i hear he put up quite a performance,lol. anyways wedding was PACKED, 1200 ppl! u cud FEEL the barakah in the air alh! was luvley to see so many ppl, esp those i hadnt seen in years. o n nas looked a DREAM, with the most amazing bouquet ever, rite to the floor. food was good, tho i ended up eating on the 2nd round, n entertainment was fun. me bros (minus groom ofcourse!) n nas's bro sang, n ppl gave speeches. n aparently nas' bro in laws carried my grandad on stage! sooo annoyed i missed tht:P. anyways, the whole groom coming in was a sweet affair (nas promptly started crying, tho i shudnt talk, so did i-other thoughts clouded the mind). all in all, a successful event.

WALIMA- twas hectic but a nice affair too. next morning rushrushrush of sorting bride sorting venue sorting everything basically, i for one am quite chuffed i managed it all in a saree:D. o n OMG we had no walima outfit!!! here we must give a BIG mention to pink's genius of a mum who went shopping ON THE MORNING n produced a beyoootiful lehenga. Allah sent it thru chachi, i kid u not.

anyways,must rush, am on bikeys pc, n shes glowering at me:S. shall post pics soon iA. o btw doe, i am ITCHING to say sumthing, but i wont;). speak soon my darling pumpkin.
