aa peopliosthought id unburden myself of some comments i picked up during my excursions of yesterweek (ie the past 7 days):
'surely knowledge of tom & jerry is fard al kifayah?!'
'The Shuyukh are like buses; none come for ages and then suddenly you get a whole stack load.'
(in contest with why manchester is cool) 'london is a great place to be! you can get vegetables in stepney green like kodu! and potol!'
'its a love-hate relationship. she loves me, i hate her.'
(to a random pedestrian-victim: apparently a look-alike to a 'charlie' character from tv)-'CHARLIE! CHARLIE! god i love him! though would appear somewhat uncouth in real life than on tv...'
(looking into the thames river today) 'OH! there i can see a bit of whale!'
am seriously considering having a notebook to keep record of what people say...
to change the topic entirely, i got another offer-from manchester uni. english and a mid eastern subject (arabic). entrance requirements: ABB including spanish.
i fail to comprehend the world of academics entirely.

spanish?! u what??!?! they must have mixed up ur ucas or something or got ur wrong subjects listed. ring them up and double-check. dimbos.

on a slightly different note, hopefully shuyukh will be coming by more regularly now that we don't have to pay for them!

pink-yup the dipwads have messed up to be sure. gona wait til i get the letter from them first to make sure the mistake aint official. o n the comment-twas bb, lol. we were reflecting on bambi's lack of knowledge on the dexter's lab dept, and the knowledge lacking among others of the circle in the various sectors of cartoons:D.
