the global village on me

aa

am feeling very cosmopolitan this pm :). was being a bimbo (as usual) and letting my mind wander a bit at a talk today (actually was a good talk and was taking notes-honest! 2 mins of wandering permitted;)). anyway, as the mind of yours truly is often want to wander, i was pondering on what i was wearing, and discovered, much to my glee, that almost everything i had on was from a different country! so i shall make another one of me lists to illustrate:
  • jeans: bangladesh
  • top: saudi
  • jilbaab: egypt
  • hijab: saudi
  • coat: uk (yeh one from home;))
  • bag: usa

howzat?! 5 countries on me! (cue: 'milkybars are on me!') so that was my cheap thrill for the day. then again i guess the fact that, besides the hijab and jilbaab, everything was from a western shop negates all of the above. oh well.

was still cool though:).

ps-remember that bio mock i was lamenting over? by a miracle of sorts i did well. moral: there bally well is a God!

You got jeans from Bangladesh??? :o No fair! Jeans from anywhere but topshop just refuse to fit me properly. And they cost too much for me so the only jeans that fit me are the ones that the most recent bride to be of sunderland kindly donated about 4 years ago. Sigh. She can't get married!! Who's gonna do my make up now? Lol. BIG clue as to who it is now. :-) But shooooosh! Its still a secret. hehehe.

aa dazey,
WOW. what a combo!! How can you wear jeans from BD? Aren't they way above the waist? Me can't cope with those :-(
note on contacts...why grey? Why not hazel? I am yet to see a person who looks better with contacts than natural eyes. Natural eye colour rulez!!

(at this point i shud go into a rant about cheap labour-but shall refrain) ye i can't stand jeans that are anywhere near the waist to be honest... n lenses-fancy dress! am still a bit lost tho-watdya think? witch? but yeh totally-natural eyes are The Way. never thought id get a pair of them-let alone grey, lol.

n flynn ur right! nothing from aussie! tho u know i was watching bbc's top gear n they were goin on about how the only 'made in aussie' thing they found (til they discovered a car) was a clothes rail! lol-ye man pass on the aussie wear:D.

wow! You got something from the USA! A bag!! I thought they import everything, including "bag", from other countries. I can't usually find any bag made in the US in America. Weird, eh!!!

p.s. you KNOW you are a girl and hence I write/comment so freely! I replied. <3 <3

Cars??
I didn't know Aus. exported cars.

I do know that we export sheep- maybe you'd like one of those, Dazey?? :D
Though, how you could fit that into your outfit/accessories for a day, I've no clue.
