inlaws, outlaws and big sisters
aa nears and dear:)and so ends a fun filled weekend. one most certainly mourns. so here's a summary of events:
Fri night/Sat morning: The Extended Clan arrived having been driven down by some ife bros (who, btw, drove straight back after dinner!!:O). all exhausted but bubbly-esp the 3 little dudes who promptly set about exploring the premises.
Sat: visit to oldham branch in the morn, lunch at home (O.M.G. was that a fiasco)-ruby apa does the Big Sister and brings the whole of the asda grocery section home including (pink!) flowers, visit to The Wirral (town outside liverpool) branch.
Sun: Ruby apa's visit to manchester circles-ife english and muslimaat (another fiasco-gave a talk i had not prepared for), Mr Extended Clan's session with senior members, and (**sob**) return of all to londinium.
yes the house is decidedly empty and dead. though iA methinks the mini extended clan members shall be back for next weekend (wahay:D) along with their uncle, (yes doe, your mr S) so tis good alh. and am going down on tues (open day at kings on wed) and iA shall be coming back on wed with nas, who'll be staying for easter (wahaay). yes a lot of travelling imminent!
o and GUESS WHAT?! abbu's coming!!! wahaaaaaaaaaaaaaay:D:D. abbuji iA scheduled to plonk along for next week on official tours because he's got conferences in london! so yes plenty to look forward to :D. am thinking, what i should ask him to bring along...? have already ordered about half a tonne of real dates (the stuff you get here is revolting). but really besides that, can't think of much. i mean theres the usual jilbaabs-but how many can one own?! and ive a big weakness for bags and hijabs-but i really don't need any AT ALL. and really...the people who would get them for me might differ in taste.
ok i just realised how spoilt i sound in that last para. just dates iA:).
anyways, shall run and be a geek. have a truckload of homework in for tomorrow and i haven't had the chance to do any:S.
