the community at the bottom of my fridge

aa my dearies:)

was reprimanded by mb today for putting unpackaged fruits in the fridge drawer: 'how can you put fruits straight in like that when there are civilisations down there? they change colour and you still put the fruits on them?'

civilisations in my fridge-tis an interesting idea to be sure. lol. well no its not that bad-sorta. but yeah a clean out of the fridge is certainly overdue. heck what is to be expected in a bachelor/ette pad like ours? certainly do try (with everyone's duas ofcourse).

ah well!

ws love & duas

wow... that's truly disgusting... civilisations... in a fridge... i didn't know they could survive in there.

:S

Normally, I'm not one to advocate hard work (or work of any kind), but maybe you should think about somehow getting rid of those civilisations from the fridge.

Better to have a community at the bottom of your fridge, where you can slam the door on them and keep the contained...different story when there's a community BEHIND your fridge...scurrying up and down your floorboards...squeaking away at midnight when you've come down for a drink of water...

yech, you lot are so despicably disgusting!! ewwww... (fudge gets two extra 'w's). cleanliness is a part of Eeman!!

*shudder* note to self: must add a fridge spot-check before making/accepting any proposals...

wassalaam.

okay, i didn't mean YOU LOT are disgusting, just meant that the fridge 'civilizations' and the fridge-back community are repulsive. no offense intended.

wassalaam.

I thought american biscuits were cookies :s. Or was that just me being educated via dreams while I sleep...

At 7:55 PM, Blogger Jibonjatri said...

yeah, actually we do call them "cookies". However, we do have something called "tea biscuits" in the grocery stores. But that's only in label. No one ever call them "biscuits". It's either cookies or crackers (different things), not biscuits.
But I like biscuits!
Actually I like BISHKOOT better, the Bengali way!

on the topic of BISHKOOT, don't u find the bd alternatives scrummy? khoi n moa balls n tiler khaja (if i got any of those rite!).

btw anon-no offence taken deary;). the house is getting a scrub this pm in honour of guests we're having round for the weekend. yep guests do bring barakah-in the form of enforced spring cleaning!

At 9:21 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

You did forget badamer toffee... Tiler khaja bhari moja. :D But how do peeps like Bela bishkoot? Some dudes were thinking of starting up a band called Bela Biskit as opposed to Limbiskit (or however it is spelled :S) in BD. Hehehe. Aaah, all this talk is bound to lead towards me baking shortbread tomorrow. Anyone want some?
