am back from my open day trip at Kings College london. it so sux to have to rush in and rush out like that- one hardly gets the satisfaction of chillaxing properly with The Extended Clan (aka TEC). but aah well. the open day was good, and well punctuated by nas's random comments thus:
'i'm sooo hungry...'
'i want to drop medicine and do english...'
'that lecturer is SO cute! she looks like lucy from narnia!'
'what on earth is he on about?!'
etc.
you get the pic;). really, she's the only aspect of the event which kept me awake-that can't be a good sign can it?! lol, no i DO like the place and it all did sound good. and i can do arabic (and bengali) modules if i wanted to, which is well cool. so yes am very much looking forward to doing an eng degree in (they claimed) the oldest english department in england/the english speaking world (and also nas's uni to boot). pink got me a flying cow in honour of the high flying aspirations, which was much appreciated despite the missing leg:). you people must all please PRAY that i get the grades to match the offer-because i have not been working hard enough:P.

in other news- members of the BD Clan are down (for 5 flippin days-call that a visit?!). went round to jug's and mrs c's residence yesterday to see them, but only chachi, rida (that child is hilarious) and maha came because chachu was sick and nuha was nursing. am hoping to drop in on them tomorrow complete with mr and mrs A (aka nas, the notun bow they want to see;)). jolly fun stuff. o and obviously nas is coming along with her bro for the weekend on friday and abbus coming on sunday. and the next two weeks are destined to be too complicated in travelling terms for me to venture an description.

o btw people NAS HAS A BLOG :D:D:D. tis wonderous progress indeed! check out me links list for 'habibti bambino'. yep she's got a lot of uni work in the form of an essay in for tomorrow. why else dya think she'd start blogging officially? i shouldn't be encouraging but then 'may my loyalty to thee never waver!' and am i not a loyal blogger? lol.

ooh better rush, mb needs his beauty sleep...
